Hi all, I am a registered nurse in our area and I have taken the medication Zyban. I am on Zyban and have been on it for about 3 months now. I have also been taking Champix for the last two weeks and I have not taken any more Champix. I am wondering if the side effects could be that the Zyban is addictive? I have tried a few different brands of Zyban as well as various other non-opioid medications, but they all seem to be very addictive. I have read in other forums that people can become very dependent on Zyban and they have been very disappointed and have not been able to get any relief. I would really recommend you stop taking it because you can be very impulsive and take it to stop.

I was wondering if there was a way to help with this? I'm currently using Zyban and I have been on it for about 4 months now and I'm not sure if it is addictive, or not. I have also used a different quit smoking program (the one that is on offer) in recent weeks and it has worked out great for me. I have been on it for about 2 months now and I've been on it for about 3 months now. I have tried a few different brands of Zyban as well as different forms of Zyban and it seems to be very effective. However, I would really recommend you to try other things to see if you get any more help with your quit smoking. Thanks

Well, Zyban works for about 5 to 10 weeks. It's also been prescribed to quit smoking after the first few weeks. It works by increasing the level of dopamine and dopamine reabsorption in your brain. It may be used as an adjunct to other medications.
Also, the Zyban was approved by the FDA in 1999 and has been shown to be effective in reducing the frequency and severity of major depressive symptoms and in preventing the relapse of the symptoms.
I would also suggest you to speak with your GP if you need further support.
I've been on Zyban and also been on Champix for the last couple of months. I've been taking it for about 5 to 6 months and I've been struggling with withdrawal symptoms.
I do recommend that you get counselling to get support for the withdrawal symptoms or to help you decide if Zyban is worth trying.
